Window Film for Schools
School glass is a safety question first and a comfort question second. Window film helps with both, and it is one of the few safety upgrades that can be installed over a weekend or school break on the glass a district already owns.

Where film helps in a school
Entry and vestibule glass. Safety and security film, optionally with an attachment system that anchors the film to the frame, helps hold glass in place when it is struck. That can delay entry and give staff time to act. It does not make glass bulletproof, and we will not tell you it does. Safety & security film →
Classroom glare and heat. Solar control film makes south- and west-facing classrooms more comfortable and screens readable. Solar control film →
Privacy and visibility. Frosted film on sidelights and interior glass where line-of-sight into rooms is a concern.
Working with districts
Written bids, product data sheets, scheduling around the academic calendar, and documentation for facilities records.
School window film FAQ
What is the difference between safety and security film? Both hold broken glass together. Security film is thicker and slows someone trying to force entry through the glass, adding those precious extra minutes to get to safety or lockdown. Security film is not bulletproof. Nothing on the market is bulletproof. Safety film mainly helps keep broken glass from scattering.
Do you install during summer break? We can schedule installs around the school calendar, such as breaks or after hours, and set the plan with you when we quote.
Can film be added to existing tempered or laminated glass? Film can go on many types of glass, but we check each window on site before quoting.
How does film fit into a broader school safety plan? Security film is one layer that slows entry through glass and buys time; it works alongside locks, entry controls and your district’s procedures, not in place of them. We can walk your entries with you and quote the glass you want covered.
