Low-E Window Film
Low-E stands for low emissivity. A Low-E film reflects long-wave heat from inside the room back into the room instead of letting it escape through the glass, while also rejecting solar heat in summer.

Why it matters in Siouxland
Siouxland’s long winters make heating the bigger energy load for most buildings. A film that helps hold room heat in during winter, and keeps solar heat out in summer, works for you in both seasons.
Best candidates
Large window walls and rooms with strong sun exposure are the usual candidates. We check your glass on site before recommending anything.
Limitations
The benefit is smaller on glass that already has a factory Low-E coating. We identify your glass on site and tell you if Low-E film is worth it.
